Once a year, as winter approaches the vast, beautiful deserts and plains of southern Africa, people gather for a celebration of beauty, style, and influence.

Out of a group of ten eligible people, one person is selected to be the face of the country that is Namibia. This is no menial task, with great responsibilities, greater opportunities and the task of taking Namibia to the world.

Following in the footsteps of her predecessors, Miss Namibia 2002 will represent Namibia in the Miss World and Miss Universe pageants, where she will show the world that Namibia, as obscure as it may seem to the rest of the world, is a place of beauty, richness, and culture.

Welcome to the Miss Namibia 2002 Pageant web presence, where we will follow the course of the selection of this one candidate, her participation in the community, and her welfare in the international pageant arena.
